5. What documents do I need to furnish?
1. Primary Identity Document
(In English, translated to English if in foreign language)
- Passport
- Driver License (Local or Foreign) – Photo & Signature
- Proof of Age Card / Photo Card
- Foreign National ID – Photo & Signature
2. Address Proof
To verify your physical address in Australia, we will require an official document with your address mentioned on it. This document should have an issue date which should not be more than 3 months old on date of submission.
Examples of address proof are as under:
- Bank Statement
- Credit Card Statement
- Telephone Bill
- Rates / Utilities Bill
Both the documents need to be uploaded with your registration. These documents can either be a color scan of the original or a photocopy verified by a JP or relevant authorized personnel.

7. What is minimum and maximum amount I can send?
There is no maximum limit to send money using CityForex however minimum amount which can be remitted is AUD 200.
8. Fees and Rates
The online fee for sending money is AUD 10 per transaction. Any transactions done from the branches will be charged at AUD 10.

9. Payment options
There are two payment options available to all our online customers for payments against their remittances.
The first payment option available to our customers is POLi™.
What is POLi™?
POLi™ is the online payment option that allows you to use your internet banking to securely pay for goods and services.
When you choose POLi™ to complete your purchases, everything is done within the security of your internet banking facility. With POLi™, at no time are you required to register to use the service and your personal information is not disclosed to any party (including POLi™).

The second option available to our customers is Online Banking Transfer into our BANKWEST Bank account.

10. When will the beneficiary receives the funds?
48 to 72 Hours from the time CityForex receives clear funds.
11. Why sometimes remittances are delayed?
Remittances can be delayed due to:
- Wrong beneficiary account details
- Public holidays in sending, receiving and intermediary bank countries.
- Sender and receiver country regulations
